A rounded profile component attached to the downhole end of a casing string.
Casing and Tubing
Casing is large diameter pipe that is assembled and inserted into a drilled section of a borehole and held into place with cement. Tubing is the conduit through which oil and gas are brought from the producing formations to the field surface facilities for processing.
